Lewis Willing

Owner and Head Coach

Lewis has over 26 years of Judo experience, is a second dan black belt in Judo and a Brazilian Jiu-jitsu blue belt. Lewis has competed around Australia, is a multiple time state champion and a national bronze medalist. Lewis coaches across all our No Limits and Mainstream programmes. Outside of martial arts Lewis is a disability support worker and avid cricket fan.

“Opening my own martial arts club has always been a dream of mine, so now to share my passion for a sport that has been part of me my whole life is a dream come true. It’s exciting to watch our students learn and grow each week, to see their confidence and skills improve. There’s something special about Seishin, it’s truly a place where people from all walks of life and all abilities can come together to train and know they truly belong on the mats.”

Carla Willing

Owner, Coach and Managing Director

Carla has been training and competing in Judo and Brazilian Jiu-jitsu for over five years and is a Brown Belt in Judo and a blue belt in in brazilian Jiujitsu sports. Carla is a multiple-time state champion in Judo as well as a national silver and bronze medalist. In Brazilian jiu-jitsu Carla is a national bronze medalist and Pan Pacific silver and bronze medalist in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu. Outside of martial arts, Carla loves to dance, is a Social Worker, and works as counsellor for children and young people with trauma.

Joseph Cruse

Coach

Joe is an experienced judo coach and competitor. He has a passion for supporting both the development and enjoyment of players. Joe spends most of his time on the mat either coaching or training judo and BJJ.

Peter Creef

Coach

Peter started his Judo journey in 1982. He is a 1st Dan black belt in Judo but has also studied Muay Thai. In his 40 years as a Judoka he has competed in local and international competitions in Thailand, England, Japan, and Australia. He loves coaching/mentoring and is very proud to see the growth of those he works with. He also might have forgotten more Judo than he remembers!
