This awesome judo event is also a Pink Belt fundraiser to support the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
There will be an epic sIlent auction and raffle on the day with some incredible items to be won and ALL PROCEEDS going towards the National Breast Cancer Foundation.
Seishin Martial Arts will also be donating $2 from every registration and all spectator gold coin entry donations to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.

Matches commence at 10am
Match times are subject to the number of entries. Approximate times will be updated prior to the event date based on entries.
Brackets will be made available prior to the competition day, once registrations are closed. It will be a round-robin style event, with a special elimination event for the Senior Men. REQUIREMENTS FOR COMPETITION
– first belt graded (Yellow for Mainstream seniors, white/yellow for mainstream juniors and yellow/orange for No Limits).
No Limits: if there is not a suitable or fair match up in the No Limits division you will be offered a friendly match with a mainstream player.
The registration fee for the competition is:
Seniors – $20 Mons and Juniors – $15
Spectator Entry – Gold coin donation (Towards the National Breast Cancer Foundation)
HOW TO WIN A JUDO MATCH.
1. You throw a player directly on their back (from standing or knees) = 1 whole point (IPPON)
2. You throw a player and they land on their side = half a point (wazari) you then hold them down for 10 seconds on their back (Osekomi) or In the same match you score a second wazari (2 wazaris = 1 Ippon).
3. You hold a player down on their back for 20 seconds (Osekomi 20 seconds = 1 Ippon)
Juniors 8 years old and under need to score 2 Ippons.

This competition is open to all players registered with Judo Tasmania in mainstream and No Limits divisions.
If there are not enough people to create a division for your weight category, you will be contacted and asked if you would like to move up a division.
MAMO PASTA food truck will be joining us on the day to feed all competitors and families. Amazing Italian food for purchase!!
